This picture was taken way back in 2009 during my first check-out dive in Anilao, Batangas. Out of the hundreds or maybe even thousands of pictures taken in all of my dives, I think this shot sums up the bliss I felt underwater. Diving for me is like dreaming. It feels so surreal and everything feels enchanted. Life underwater is so much different from what we have here on land. Everything is just so natural and harmonious. No superficialities are present, just plain natural selection. There’s also a certain eerie feeling of not knowing what’s in and beyond the placidity of the water, but that’s what makes the experience amazing.
