As the industry leader in marine conservation education on Koh Tao Eco Koh Tao is helping Crystal Dive turn its professional team into Eco ambassadors.

Dive professionals will guide the divers of tomorrow and being informed is an important aspect of being a great dive leader.

As part of their employ all staff members will be required (if they aren’t already, which many of them are) to undertake Reef Check Ecodiver training. This training also enables participants to complete local Ecological Monitoring Programs surveys as well. Both methods of coral reef survey provide invaluable data to organisations illustrating the health of the reef and what changes may be taking place. The information also assists managers to make informed decisions on the use of those resources in order to help protect them.

Hopefully we’ll have all Crystal Dive staff Reef Check trained soon and our influence will be felt far & wide.
