updates

It was so nice to see the park again today and dive in the spring. When we got there, there were only a handful of visitors there. We made our way down to the deck overlooking the spring and I identified the different areas of the spring for my buddy, Chris Rogers.

As we reached the spring head, I was beginning to think we were not going to find any debris to be removed but then Chris located a cinderblock. Most likely brought into the area by other divers to attach their dive line to. It did look like it had been down there a while but did not belong. Removing it was fairly simple. Just inflated and ascended together with both of us holding the cinderblock. There were no other divers in the water, thankfully. It could have been disasterous if we had accidently dropped the cinderblock. Once on land, Chris carried the cinderblock to the waste area.

After the dive we all sat down at the picnic area and had a nice meal of sub sandwiches and chips. While cleaning up our picnic table, I noticed in the trash, a cut out bleach bottle that had obviously been underwater and removed.

Looking forward to our next visit
