Charity Auction and more events from DIVE 2015

updates
Camel has had an active role within the Project AWARE Foundation events organized during DIVE 2015 in Birmingham. Project AWARE's first charity auction was a huge success - £5,480 was raised with the help of 28 Sponsors and 412 Bids. Camel as one of the sponsors offered a 7 night stay and a diving holiday for two people. We are sure that the winning bidder will enjoy their prize and be reminded of Project AWARE’s mission and vision for a return to a clean, healthy and abundant ocean planet. We're thrilled to be part of this innovative way to spread awareness about Oceans conservation, our daily mission. One more award for Our Eco Officer Catherine Bates. She has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Project AWARE Communications Manager, Albert Domino, for 11 years of commitment and dedication to ocean protection. During her years at Camel, Cath was organizing many important Eco events, underwater clean ups, writing this blog and a lot more duties amongst her valuable work as a diving instructor. During the NEC show we also took the opportunity to hand over our annual donations to the Shark Trust from the sales of our Hammerhead t-shirts, designed by concept artist Dan Lish. We hope that this small help will be used in the name of the Ocean.
