100 Days of Clean Up - Days 6 - 7

updates

The end of week 1 has come and it was a fruitfull one. We had a Team of 4 Instructors, 1 DM and 1 Open Water Diver going down for a Clean Up dive. The goal was to pick up enough to cross over the 100kg mark ... and yes we did it. On day 6 we raised the trash weight to 85,5kg. So 14.5kg was missing to hit the 100kg. In the end we picked up 22.5kg in a 45 minute dive. The most curious things to find were a Toilet Brush and a Bicylce Lock (which is so weird because the next street is a 45 minute boat ride away). Later on we had another group going down for a fundive. They picked up an additional 1.5kg so that we are now at at total of: 109.5kg, 1198.5 items, around 235m of fishing line, 20m of rope and 3 handfull of paper removed from our House Reef. Hopefully week 2 is as successful as week 1 was. Many thanks to all our Happy Helpers. The photo of day 7 shows the Team that cracked the 100kg after their dive
