100 Days of Clean Up - Days 2 - 5

updates

So we've been busy cleaning up our housereef. Meanwhile we have regularly guests participating. Particually one came along on every Clean Up Dive since he is here. Many thanks at this place to my fellow co-worker Kim, who tags along every time I ask ... and that happens really often :) and also a big thanks to our freelance Instructor Yuan from China, who not only goes almost every day for a Clean Up but also motivates the guests to come with her. So here is a pic of the three of us after the Clean Up on the second day. We went for a late afternoon dive, found a Flamoyant Cuttlefish and brought up 16kg of trash.

In total so far we fished out 82kg, with a total of 888 different items (cans, bottles, plastic fragments etc.), around 160m of fishing line, 2 handfull of paper and around 15m of rope. The weirdest item that we found you can see on the picture ... a nice and rosty kitchen sink
