Scientific Diver Eco Internship starts today!

Carter our latest divemaster trainee is starting her training as a PADI Divemaster today. This unique internship is a month long course combining the traditional PADI Divemaster course with marine biology & scientific diving training.

During this course interns set up Reef Check & Coral Watch monitoring transect at several of our index sites. We spend several dives collecting data on coral health & cover, as well as fish & invertebrate abundance.  The scientific dive training also consists of workshops on fish & coral identification through field work and underwater video. This rewarding internship introduces students to the techniques and applications of working as a scientific diver. 

Course Structure is as follows and can be customized for each intern to suit their interests and needs:

5 week course 9.000.000 Rp

Additional weeks to complete course 1.000.000 Rp/ week
