Monsoon season is here!

Which means, lots and LOTS of plastic garbage getting flushed from rains down the streams and street gutters in Bali and ending up in the ocean.

Each morning the beach infront of our dive centre is covered with the reminants of plastic bottles, sandals, plastic food packaging, etc, etc, etc...  As the tide and winds through the night wash up heaps of marine debris.

So... every morning we are out on the beach picking up this garbage - today: 3 large garbage bags full of plastic & debris, tommorrow? probably the same!!

It's a daily battle against plastic marine debris, but not a hopeless battle :)
