Murrays Bay Dive for Debris

updates

Last Saturday myself and Paul Parkes set out for a bit of a look around and small cleanup dive at Murrays Bay in Auckland’s North Shore. The objective was to collect and record as much rubbish as we could find and check the suitability and needs of the site to complete a larger clean up dive in September with the Performance Diver crew.

What we found was a very pretty beach, a wharf well used my fishermen, plentiful gem and lemon nudibranch, and loads of rubbish!! In particular beer bottles!

We are heading back soon with more people, to remove more rubbish! If you are intrested in coming along or supporting from shore please meet at Performance Diver at 8.30am on Saturday 14th September.
