A fragile and extraordinarily beautiful world. We humans must look after the earth and the vast oceans as without them there would be no life, we are the guardians and the protectors, it is our responsibility!!

The All 4 Diving Indonesia and Mermaid Liveaboards Earth Day and Beach clean up event held in April at Semawang Beach Sanur was an enormous success with around 30 school children from local schools, friends and family.

The event started with the painting of 6 large recycled oil drums organised by All 4 Diving Indonesia. The children were put to work painting them with pictures with an evironmental theme, protecting wildlife, the oceans and the planet. They will now be strategically placed along the Sanur beach to encourage others to use the bins rather than our beaches !

Eco Bali Recycling follwed by an informative talk about recycling and what an important role recycling sserves for the community and the environment as a whole.

The Children were then issued with red and green bags for the different kinds of rubbish and put in to teams with All 4 Diving and Mermaid Liveaboards staff coordinating, off they scuttled down the beach to put into practice what they have learnt.

Meanwhile the Little Mermaid (All 4 Diving Indonesia's dive boat) set off with a dedicated team to do the same thing underwater in the Sanur channel dive site.

Then for the fun part, refreshments, prizes and a ride in the glass bottom boat to witness the true beauty of the oceans, coral reefs and fish life that we have pledged to protect !
