Last October, during our wonderful visit with the Project AWARE mascot Finn on his world tour, and during Big Shark Shout Out Week, we launched an online petition asking the City of Montreal to ban shark fin products.

Other cities in Canada, such as Toronto and Mississauga, have already announced similar bans, which come into effect this summer.

Our petition has gained momentum, and as we near the 1000 signature mark and as the Project AWARE April Big Shark Shout Out Month approaches, we're ready to take this campaign to the next level. 

We've issued a challenge to Montrealers far and wide to join us as we seek to put a stop to the trade of shark fins in our cities.
