As part of our efforts to help control the proliferation of Lion fish, we have joined with other dive shops on the Island to hold a "Lion fish Derby".  Each participating shop is represented by teams of 3 or 4 and draw lots to decide which site they dive.  Then we go out and snatch up as many Lion fish we can  find with a prize or biggest, smallest and anythig else creative the commity comes up with.  This helps to control the ever growing number of the invasive fish and helps feed the bellies of the participants during the fish fry the following day.  Yes, there are very safe methods for preparing Lion fish, making for a delicious celebration of our oceans.

BICD will be reprented by our own instructors on staff:  team 1 is Nick, Selena and new to our DMT course Alexa...while team 2 is Stacy, Vanessa and Monty (another of your DMT's).
