Downbelow's September Project AWARE Reef & Beach Clean Up is taking place on 24 September, and as always we invite the local community and those interested to take part.

The Reef & Beach Clean Up is a day at our beautiful island PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, where we take to the beach, rocky outcrops and mangrove swamps to collect pesky marine debris.

It may require some snorkeling and getting wet, but it's all in good fun and for the good of the environment.

Divers will clean the house reef and other underwater sites near and around the dive station to get rid of the heavier marine debris that sunk and is polluting the seabed and reefs.

Downbelow sponsors logistics and lunch, Sabah Parks sponsors the park fees and Sutera Harbour sponsors the jetty fees for this environmental crusade.

To book your spot, or for more information, please contact Evelyn Bernadinus on +60 12 867 7375 or email [email protected].
