Join The Sea Turtle Restoration Project, Green Sahnga, and leaders of the revolution to reduce plastic pollution for Plastics 360:  Impact & Possibilities.

Exciting presentations and dialogue with local sustainability leaders at take place during two interconnected events:

1) Film Night - Thursday, March 7,  from 7:00-9:00pm, at the Berkeley Unitarian Fellowship Hall, 1924 Cedar Street (at Bonita Avenue).  $10 per ticket.  To reserve your seat, click here to purchase tickets.

The Plastics 360:  Impact & Possibilities Film Night features several short, stimulating movie pieces on the promises and liabilities of plastics, each followed by commentary and dialogue with local experts:
Chris Pincetich, Ph.D., Sea Turtle Restoration Project; Beck Cowles, Berkeley Ecology Center; Beth Terry, author, Plastic Free:  How I Kicked the Plastic Habit, and How You Can, Too; Monica Wilson, GAIA (Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives.

2) Interactive Conference - Saturday, March 16, 9:30am – 4:00pm, at the Lafayette Public Library, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd.  $30 till Mar 1; $40 thereafter (students with current ID get $10 off).  Click here to register.

The Plastics 360:  Impact & Possibilities Interactive Conference includes multimedia presentations followed by an expert panel on practical solutions, moderated by Andy Peri of Green Sangha.  Speakers: Susan Freinkel, author, Plastic:  A Toxic Love Story; Joe Mueller, MS, biology instructor, College of Marin; Chris Pincetich, Ph.D., marine biologist, Sea Turtle Restoration Project; Marion Guyer, M.D., M.B.A.; Beth Terry, accountant, activist (myplasticfreelife.com), and author, Plastic Free; Gerry Swan, RYT, yoga instructor (opening meditation and mid-day movement interlude)
