One of Boracay's largest Chinese restaurants, Golden Phoenix, located on Station 2 of White Beach has shouted for sharks!

The executive chef has permanently removed shark meat from the menu and will use only synthetic noodles in any 'shark' labeled dishes - no shark product will be served at Golden Phoenix Restaurant in support of Project AWARE and our beautiful shark population.

Two bamboo reef sharks were being held in one of the restaurant's seafood tanks, at 4pm on the 8th of March the team from Calypso will transport them from the restaurant and release them back into the ocean off of Boracay.
