Tortuga Diver Training will be sponsoring our annual Dive Against Debris at Perch Lake.  Both youth and adult divers will be working together to remove trash and debris from beneath the surface of Perch Lake, a popular dive site near Santa Rosa, New Mexico.  We are also seeking the aid of Boy Scout Troop 122 from Los Alamos, New Mexico to assist with trash removal from the shoreline.  The Perch Lake Dive Against Debris project is scheduled for Monday, October 14, 2013, and will run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Just over a year ago, the Boy Scouts assisted with a similar clean-up project at Perch Lake.  It will certainly be instructive to assess how the lake has fared over the preceding 12 months.
