Lionfish Culliing

Everyday at XTC Dive Center we are conciously attmepting to control and reduce our local lionfish population.  This is done by both our staff and by guests who are interested in learning about spear fishing.  In the Xcalak Marine Park, we have strict rules on how we go about doing this, but will good buoyancy skills and a bit of luck, you too can help to reduce this invasive species.  IF the fish is large enough, the ladies at out local restaurant "The Leak Palapa" might even be willing to clean and cook up your catch for you!  Feel free to contact us at [email protected] or take a look at our website www.xtcdivecenter.com
