We will do an in- and under-water cleanup with snorkelers and scuba divers, concentrating on monofilament underneath the pier. We will start with a one-tank dive at 8:30am. If we find anything large, such as ghostnets, that requires removal with liftbags, we will add a second tank with a small dedicated crew.

Certified divers with more than 10 recent dives under their belts are welcome to join free of charge. Equipment is available at a discounted rental rate for this event. It is possible to use this cleanup towards your Dive-against-Debris specialty certification. Talk to us about that!

We will provide snacks and beverages to ease the chore of cataloguing, weighing and counting trash.
