Dear Divers and sea lovers,

Thank you for your commitment to the marine environment again and signing up for the Inter-Continental Hotel Group underwater and clean up with Al Mahara Diving Center and Emirates Diving Association and Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi this coming Saturday 8th October.

We are still trying to highlight the negative impact of marine debris worldwide by participating and building awareness and making a difference. Again thank you for your commitment. In September, we pulled up 1500kg of trash in just over 1.5hours by both divers and beach volunteers during our last clean up. And so our journey is to continue to dive against the debris. Safe diving everyone!

Registration time:7:00am-:7:30am (pre-registration is required), divers, please bring proof of diving certification and signed liability form which is attached. No proof of diving certification, unfortunately no scuba diving.

Finish time:approx. 11:30am

Location:Inter-Continental Hotel, Abu Dhabi (entrance to the Fish Market restaurant and also the beach area), parking is available at the marina by the Fish market entrance. Please see the location map attach

Equipment:Divers will be provided with mesh bag and u/w clean up gloves, tanks and weights. Please remember to bring sun protection (e.g. hat and sunscreen and water bottle), hydration station and light snack after the dive.

Facilities:toilet and change facility on site (near the beach entrance by the Fish Market Restaurant)

Please bring your own re-fillable water bottle. We want to reduce plastic bottles!

And let us know if you require gear aside from tanks and weights.
