We're sponsoring a Project AWARE Marine Debris event this weekend for everyone wanting to participate in the collecting of ocean-bound rubbish and report data for this project.

Downbelow is sponsoring boat transfers, fuel, lunch and the necessary clean-up equipment, Sabah Parks will sponsor the conservation fees and supply the guides, and Sutera Harbour Marine is sponsoring the jetty fees.

The day will consist of a debris collection on and off-shore, BBQ and spreading awareness about the problem of marine debris and how to solve it.  

A raffle for an attractive prize sponsored by the Downbelow Dive Shop will raise funds, which, together with other donations, will be donated to Project AWARE Foundation.
