San Miguel to Santa Rosa Channel record swim attempt.  With the abundance of sealion's around San Miguel island this channel is known for it's aggressive shark population.  In it's first ever attempt to swim this channel, Julian Rusinek will not be using a shark cage or safety divers for his solo swim.  This attempt is sanctioned by the Santa Barbara Channel Swim Association.
