On September 23, 2012, Dive Magic and Boise Water Sports, along with help from the Parks and Recreation in McCall, Idaho, will hold an annual lake cleanup of one of our local lakes. We have chosen Payette Lake in McCall, Idaho. This year we hope to have many divers and non-divers helping to make Payette Lake a better place to swim and dive. Payette Lake is the drinking water for the local town of McCall as well as a local swimming and diving spot for many people in the area. There is also a local legendary sea creature, named Sharlie, which has been spotted throughout history by the people living near the lake, and she would probably appreciate having her home cleaned as well. We hope our efforts of cleaning up Payette Lake will help make the park a cleaner and safer place for local families, and especially, their children.
