Help us kick off October with an ocean clean up and survey!

Through Project AWARE, we are organizing a volunteer event for certified divers to help remove the trash from some of our favorite dive sites. In a few short weeks, global leaders will gather at the Our Ocean 2015 conference in Chile to discuss the harmful impacts of marine debris along with other important topics. The data collected from our dives will then be shared at the conference as part of their Beneath The Waves campaign.

Volunteer divers will need to attend an informational meeting on September 30, 2015 at 5:30pm at our Retail Center (100800 Overseas Hwy Key Largo, FL 33037). Everyone will meet the following afternoon at 12:15pm for the clean up at our Dive Center (100 Ocean Dr. Key Largo, FL 33037). Each volunteer diver will need to have their own mesh bag, a cutting tool, and gloves. If needed, these materials can be purchased from our shop.

If you would like to volunteer please give us a call to reserve your spot. This is a free event so space is limited!
