IT'S THE BIG SHARK SHOUT OUT WEEK!!!   What Events are happening at Calypso this Week?   Shout Out on the Shark Wall and Sign the Petition: write your message about protecting sharks.    SCUBA & SNAP with Sharon the Shark! Try scuba in the pool and get your photo taken with Sharon (she's a toy shark, not a real one of course!). Receive a photo print of you breathing underwater with Sharon and the “I Shouted for Sharks” banner.   AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty: NEW! Just launched, this 2-dive specialty is fun and very educational. The certification can count towards Master Scuba Diver as well!    The Shark Search around Boracay: we'll be visiting sites where there is a chance to observe sharks. After the dives there'll be evening showings of educational shark films and photo slide shows.   How will Calypso’s Activities Help Sharks?   When you sign the petition and Shout Out on the Shark Wall, AWARE can utilize the voice of the public as leverage to encourage positive changes to shark policy. Calypso will make a donation to Project AWARE shark protection projects for SCUBA & SNAP with Sharon, AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty, The Shark Search around Boracay and all other ocean dives throughout the year as well! We also encourage you to join us for educational events throughout the week like the AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty and presentations. Calypso will be making donations and fundraising with fun  offerings. Learn more about the shark issues, then tell more people about the plight of sharks, and so create more shark protection supporters.   We have put together these fun and educational events to get more people involved in shark protection and fundraise for AWARE’s Shark projects.
