This is a unique dive site, with a bottom composition made of biogenic garvel.  Known locally as the Coral Beach, it is made of a coralline algae called Maerl.  It is a popular site for divers as well as other beach-goers.  It has been awarded a Blue Flag again this year but we shall do our best to help keep it clean.
