Join Action Scuba at Centeen Park and join in the fun at the annual beach and underwater clean-up. Although based in Montreal, the group does all of their training in Brockville and bring divers in from Quebec every weekend. 

Each year they organize a big clean-up of the waterfront as part of their commitment to marine conservation. Sadly, they always find lots of trash in the water; beer bottles, soft drink cans, garbage and more. They hope that by promoting this event even non divers will gain an appreciation for our environment and realize that throwing garbage in the river is not a solution. Just because you can't see the trash, doesn't mean it's not impacting the environment.
