Additional Information
A record, unmarked, but kept to find out what music it may play!
Drinks Cans - so many single use items, taking a long time to break down, but all grouping together
Plastic bags - so many wrapping around coral; strangling and inhibiting growth
Fabric - collecting more waste as it 'snowballs' encompassing and destroying reef and growing with every roll of a wave.
Comments and Feedback
We chose to dive the deeper site at this location as the swells earlier in the week had pulled the garbage out to the reef at 10m deep instead of gathering at the inner reef at 3-4m. And we found a lot of trash!
