On the 1th of September 2012 the diving centre Tauchsport Käser is organizing a Project Aware Event called "Aareputzete" together with the medical police of Berne "Sanitätspolizei Bern", the fishing association of Berne "Fischereiverband Bern" and the association of protection of Wohlensee "Schutzverband Wohlensee".

The quality of the environment in and around the river "Aare" is currently suffering because of thrown away waste of careless people. In order to rise the quality of the environment and life, this event has been organized. Almost 100 divers and helpers have already signed up for cleaning the river "Aare" in the capital of Switzerland. Organized in buddy teams, the divers will take out all the litter on the ground of the river, which cannot be naturally decomposed. The area around the river will also be cleaned by helpers, who will collect all the waste.
