Trash is regularly washed into the sea and sinks, coming from nearby water villages where waste is frequently discarded.

A large plastic bag filled with soaked diapers.
The entire week was blessed with crystal-clear skies and radiant sunshine, with not a single cloud in sight. The ocean lay calm and glassy, revealing the vibrant corals and shimmering marine life beneath the surface. A gentle breeze carried the fresh, clean scent of the sea, and the air was so pure and refreshing that it felt as if nature itself had gifted us the perfect weather every single day.

Plastic bags and food wrappers – they were everywhere and often entangled in coral.
Disposable diapers – found in large quantities and a potential health hazard.
Disposable plastic containers were the most problematic, as they were found in large numbers and often broken into sharp pieces that could harm marine life.
