There was a partial hull of a sail boat underwater. It was on shore before and probably because of high winds we had month before ended up in the water. It was too big to get out and it also looked like it had growth starting on it. It might end up being part of the reef over time.
The fishing line pulled out was tangled on the reef. I believe this line was dragged by the currents to this area, because this is not a typical place to fish. Point of origin must have been someplace else.

We had bad rain and wind the whole weekend we were out there. It made sorting and weighing trash a lot more difficult id say we lost about 5-10 lbs of trash from the wind blowing it away while we were sorting and weighting.
It is still camping season out here in Arizona so a lot of this trash is coming from people being careless about where they put there trash, either its being thrown into the lake or blown into the lake by wind.
A lot of this trash is due to campers not being mindful of what happens to there trash when they leave. The trash problem out here in Arizona wouldn't be as bad is people knew more about where the trash is ending up and how its harming the lakes ecosystems.
PVC pipe over 15 ft long, it was meant for drainage but was not connected to anything.
It was very windy, water temps were about 54 with good visibility. We had highs in the low 80's and lows at night in the 40's.

We are a new dive club in Central Nebraska that use this lake and other surrounding lakes for recreational and training proposes. Our club goal is to promote safe diving for all ages and to keep our lakes and oceans clean. Many of our club members travel abroad and we also enjoy diving our local venue to keep up our skills and participate in some diving comradery. Our goal is to also excite youth into diving and protection our aquatic life. We would like to adopt this lake and others that we use.
