I was very happy to not find ANY recent household/beachgoer/camper debris other than a single plastic bag. Everything other than that was entanglement I cut free, or otherwise random plastic/tape that seemed to have been in the ocean for years. I suppose as the weather warms up and more and more people begin to visit the ocean I will be finding more household trash.
Same stuff I was cutting free at this time of year in 2016. The sand seems to shift in late spring and summer covering most of this type of entangled debris thus not allowing me to get at it with a knife.
Computer monitor cable. One of the pieces I cut free was from a much larger mess an entangled ropes, cloth and wires. I was unable to get deep enough into the sand to cut a section with the computer cable.
Mostly clear. Rained 3 days earlier.
