It is right by a hotel, so very easy for rubbish and things in pockets to be dropped/carried by the wind into the water.
Fishing occurs often in Fujairah. They fish very close to Snoopy Island.
Lighter
Quite calm. Occasional swell but nothing too big.

Dive Location
If you know your survey site coordinates, enter them manually in decimal degrees using WGS84 Map Datum. Use the minus sign for latitudes south of the equator and longitudes west of the Prime Meridian to 180 degrees.
If you do not know your survey site coordinates, click the “Map Location” tab to use the map to zoom into your survey site and drop the pin on the map to fall within your survey dive site in the water (not on land or the beach). Ensure you zoom in as much as possible to ensure data accuracy.

Tanjung Tengah is a house reef of the resorts at Redang Island and it is full of variety pieces of fishes and corals. Due to the heavy boats traffic, the environment of dive site has been affected. The dive sites should be protected and we plan to organise this activity every month in order to improve the environment of the dive site.
We were not aware of any event. Tanjung Tengah is a famous tourist snorkelling area because it is full of a rich variety of colourful fishes especially whitetip sharks and corals.
It was grateful that our divers participated this meaningful activity to protect our ocean world. We were disappointed to find overwhelming amount of debris and these could be prevented.
We could not find any unusual item at the surveyed dive site but the most problematic debris items were fishing nets and rope which were left behind during off peak season.
Great weather, sunny day, calm wave.
