La Fundación y su proyecto ‘Iniciativa Bajo Tranquilo’, recuerda a la comunidad local y a los turistas, que ésta es una campaña abierta a todos y que se puede participar en diferentes frentes, no solamente como buzo. Más de 500 voluntarios han participado en todo tipo de labores: como apneistas; ayudantes de superficie; colaboradores en el llenado de planillas, alimentación, fotografía, etc.

Con la técnica de "liberación temprana - in situ" hemos logrado "reducir a cero" el número de criaturas expuestas a ser liberadas al llegar a superficie.
Este domingo 30 de julio, se produjo una nueva acción de restauración ecosistémica de la Fundación Help 2 Oceans, que busca mitigar el impacto de los residuos sólidos en el mar de San Andrés. Esta es la jornada N° 27 de este equipo de apasionados ambientalistas y la séptima financiada por la Gobernación.
En esta ocasión, los esfuerzos se concentraron en la extracción de llantas en el sector de Schooner Bight (Km 7), donde 14 voluntarios asistentes, además de 11 integrantes de la Armada Nacional quienes coordinaron acciones en una lancha de Guardacostas y del ARC Serranilla, logrando extraer 94 llantas para un total de 1.128 kg.
