There are lots of lobster traps in the surrounding area. We found several that were broken down and falling apart due to being abandoned which caused us to find high numbers of metal materials and fragments.

Lobster traps and fragments from lobster traps: vast majority of trash collected fell under these categories

Rope: lots of rope collected all over the dive area, large bundles of rope woven into lobster traps or around rocks could cause entanglement hazards for divers and animals

Plastic bags and bag fragments: a significant amount of bags and bag fragments were collected from all different depths and sides of the dive site
