This clean up dive was conducted the day after the Gasparilla parade and invasion (the 3rd largest parade in the States) It is popular to throw beads, coins and swords,

The telephone and wire cable was very odd. It looked like a company did a job and threw all of the cut up wire and cable in the channel.

cable

beads

food trash

Tampa is trying to implement a bead-free Gasparilla parade, didn't really work this year.... however word is getting around and it will be a positive process in years to come.
