The seasons are changing and we are about to see more and more trash come in during the winter months (especially after storms). For now, however, the trash is mainly floating on the surface.

We'd like to thank our guests Lorenzo, Stijn, Victoria, and Maaike who happily lent us a helping hand.

We actually expected to find more trash, this is why we focused on a smaller area. But the actual amount of debris was quite low. Mostly it's the tiny plastic fragments (on their way to becoming microplastic) that's the biggest problem, as everybody goes to pick out bigger, more obvious things.
