Previously 2 days of continuous strong and stormy weather, a day before the underwater cleanup might have contributed to the debris found at the dive site.

PVC pipe debris from coral nursery projects scattered at the sandy bottom (Lack of scheduled monitoring and improper anchoring of PVC structure to bottom substrates

A total of 45.35 kg of trashes collected along the beach of Teluk Keke, P. Perhentian!! Thank you to all 30 heroes who came and support the activity!! And here's the detail on our trash collected into types: 1. Artificial polymer materials = 31.2 kg 2. Rubber = 50 grams 3. Cloth/textiles = 4.3 kg 4. Paper/cardboard = 2.4 kg 5. Processed/worked wood = 100 grams 6. Metal = 5 kg 7. Glass/ceramics = 2.3 kg
