Styrofoam Containers. Used daily by hundreds of residents, they fly quickly into the ocean. Fish and seabirds confuse them for food and die from starvation.

Plastic bottles, many floating

Fishing lines. Breaking corals and entangling fish.

Metal could result as the most relevant, but only because they sink in the ocean and can be easily collected. These items usually do not break apart into small pieces. We can estimate that the quantity of Plastic and Styrofoam should be more relevant, these items typically float in the ocean, breaking into fragments. They are very dangerous for marine life.
