Most of what we collected was plastic bottles, very close to the shore. (all of our measurements our in kilos) We saw debris on the beach when we surfaced. we could see bungalows up on top of the hill. trash is making its way to the beach then blowing directly in the ocean. It seems to have gotten stuck in the same area. we found nothing for our first twenty minutes, but as soon as we got closer to the shore we found tons of plastic and glass bottles.

nothing really.

plastic bottles

plastic lables

glass bottles

We also conducted a beach clean-up that same morning. Same major issues. Plastic bottles and glass.
