Town Pier is a freight unloading zone, so daily usage contributes to a large amount of cardboard and packaging in the marien environment. There was additionally a large amount of fishing line and beer bottles from regular use of the pier.

A speedo!

fishing line- entangles different animals and corals

cardboard boxes- smothering corals by blocking sunlight

beer bottles- huge number being built into the reef
