We concluded a month of Diving Against Debris, in which the Calypso team have removed around 80kg trash from the ocean, with a cleanup at our house reef. Following a few days of rather windy weather, we noticed that there were more items than usual to remove, probably due to them being washed in from the open ocean. But with regular cleanups we are keeping the area in tip-top condition. So, September was a very successful month, which we will take forward and continue the good work throughout the year. Thanks to everyone who got involved and helped protect our ocean planet.
