Project AWARE divers: Study to progress marine conservation!

updates

Project AWARE divers need to study to progress marine conservation, which will increase the positive effect on our natural environment!

During our current PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), one of our Go PRO interns delivered a knowledge development presentation on the importance of maintaining positive buoyancy.

It really was a fantastic first attempt from Aisyah, and she received a passing score for relating the value of learning buoyancy to the passion divers have for protecting and preserving the marine environment!

Whenever possible, our professional diving interns are encouraged by our Go PRO team to get involved with our many educational and conservation programs that inspire marine activism.

Any and all experiences they throw themselves into (so to speak!) will prove beneficial to their development as a professional diver, and especially the practical contributions during ‘Ghost Net’ removals when assisting our team of Pro divers.

A teaching presentation on dive theory is always made much more exciting, for both the student or participant and their Instructor, when there’s a reference to real experiences!
