So a couple of days ago i was finishing up a rescue course in the local bay with a natural born diver...

We decided to go for a quick 20 minute fun dive at the end of the course, it quite quickly turned into a Dive against debris when the plastic started turning up,

Before we know it (and due to a lack of a mesh bag!!) Myself one DM and my newest rescue diver start finding more and more plastic, all the debris details can be found in the dive survey report but the most unusual (besides and octopus that had made a plastic cup its home) would be a bicycle tyre..

20 minutes later were walking back up the beach carrying all the debris we could carry getting thumbs up and nods off every local on the beach which was quite gratifying i have to admit. sadly there is still plenty more debris on this site, and many more plans in my head to go and remove the rest of it in the near future.
