AWARE Week is back! Ocean lovers around the world are invited to join in the AWARE Week celebrations and act for change.

Project AWARE® is partnering up again with PADI® to mobilize the global dive community to be citizen activists for a clean ocean. The second annual AWARE Week, that will see conservation activities focused on keeping the ocean clean and healthy, takes place throughout the week of 14-22 September 2019. Can we count on you?

With a focus on encouraging more scuba divers to remove, record and report marine debris found on the seafloor, including reporting debris-free sites (which is just as important), this year’s AWARE Week provides a new opportunity to build bridges between community action and policy change.

AWARE Week 2019 encourages dive professionals and the global dive community to lead or take part in AWARE Week activities and courses focused on tackling ocean pollution, raising awareness about plastic pollution, and empowering local communities to take positive actions for a return to a clean and healthy ocean.

As well as equipping divers, with the skills needed to conduct Dive Against Debris® surveys and be a Force For Good, AWARE Week is also designed to bring together ocean lovers from all walks of life to be a voice for the ocean and act for change.
