This talk is a benefit for Project AWARE®. Our Coral Reef Conservation talk is FREE to the public and is focused on helping you appreciate the complexity of coral reef habitats and teaching how you can help conserve these vital systems. You’ll learn how reefs function and the complex nature of life on a reef; Why coral reefs are so important; Why many coral reefs are in serious trouble; What you can do to prevent further decline. Presented by Jennifer Barton, a Marine Conservation Management scientist and PADI Scuba Instructor. The event is hosted by Extended Horizons and Koholā Brewery and being held at The Tap Room at Koholā Brewery in Lahaina at 6p on Wednesday April 17th, 2019.
