IDC Lembongan and Project AWARE Debris Dive

It is IDC Lembongan time here at Blue Corner Dive and that means during our Project AWARE day we go out and spend some time out of the classroom and back into the Ocean.

Normally the IDC Lembongan Candidates would complete a reef clean up at Buyuk, but following the huge amount of rubbish we collected from Karang Sari we thought it best to go there again and clean.

During the Aware Dive Against Debris dive we were 1 team with Rosie (PADI MI) and myself leading the team. Our dive also took place during Project AWARE week. During the dive we collected many diapers, sanitary pads, fishing line and rope! Now we can all enjoy our dive at Karang Sari a fabulous site on Nusa Penida, it is now cleaner. WE cleaned 28 Kg of rubbish off the reef.
