Float N' Flag's annual Tobermory Takeover this year saw 75 people join us from across the country (divers from as far as Newfoundland attended) for a spectacular weekend of fun, friendship and fin support. Our 68 divers hit the charter boats this year with no single use plastic bottles for water or Gatorade. Typically the group used 10 cases of water and 10 cases of Gatorade, or approximately 500 single use plastic bottles. This year’s total... a big fat 0!!  We used metal water bottles and provided drink crystals for our divers to help do our little part up here in the Great Lakes.  Next year’s goal is to match the ZERO on single use plastic items and eliminate the use of paper!!  The Float N’ Flag team wanted me to ensure I said thanks to all of you at Project Aware for doing such an amazing job in advocating for the underwater world we love so much!  Keep up the great work and thanks for getting us this banner so we could send you a photo of our team showing our support!!!
