On 4-10-18, my dive buddy and I did a DAD dive at La Jolla Shores and I used the DAD app on my iPhone and a small digital scale to weigh the items found.

The only issue I've noticed is that there appears to be no way to share DAD data dives from the DAD app onto social media. That would be a nice feature. 

The app also 'captures' any photos you may have taken of the debris items, making them unavailable for sharing outside the DAD app itself.
