In partnership with the Municipality of Malay and Boracay Adventures, we have embarked on a coral planting project on Calypso Course Reef. This is Calypso Divings' adopted dive site. The government sent a marine biologist to give us a seminar in coral planting techniques, and then we put this into practice by collecting coral fragments then planting them. Ourselves and the government will be monitoring the corals, and if all if is successful we will be planting more in the near future! Check back for future updates and to see the progress!
