The Zotta is a tiny beach in Sferracavallo, a district of Palermo City by the sea, part of the Marine Protect Area. 
PADI Dive Resort Mare Nostrum Diving Palermo is located just in front of the beach, and has it as its underwater classroom during scuba training and discovery programs. It's also children's of the area favourite beach, as easy to reach, with shallow waters and surrounded by rocks where to jump from. And local fishermen love it, as well: they keep here their tiny wooden boats, ready to be launched at any time of the day. 
Sferracavallo's seaside is also one of  Palermo's best promenades and very famous for the numerous restaurants offering fish delicacies! 

Because of so many frequent lovers, marine debris is getting a serious problem: snorkellers and scuba divers are therefore incouraged by the dive centre to remove litter underwater or on the beach at any time when diving in this dive site. 

This  is the 3rd Dive Against Debris arranged, by our PADI Dive Centre, with the specific mission to clean up totally this small strip of the coastline, so precious for scuba divers, swimmers, children and fishermen, as well as for any visitor passing by to enjoy its sunset.

La Scuola Sub Mare Nostrum Diving organizza una giornata di immersioni dedicate alla rimozione di rifiuti subacquei dalla spiaggia della Zotta, la spiaggetta  antistante il diving center, sito dove si svolgono le lezioni in acqua dei corsi sub e dei programmi di esperienza. Ma anche preferita da nuotatori, bambini, pescatori locali e visitatori occasionali, i quali godono da qui uno splendido tramonto! 

Sabato 30 settembre 2017: un appuntamento da non mancare per far parte del programma "Adotta La Zotta" e contribuire a rendere e mantenere pulito uno dei luoghi più deliziosi alle porte della città di Palermo... e poi, è la nostra aula subacquea.... e la vostra!! 

Avendo partecipato all'immersione, è possibile conseguire la certificazione della specialità Distintiva Dive Against Debris Diver: farai così parte della comunità di subacquei sensibili all'ambiente, e parte attiva del programma dei Mare Nostrum Divers!
